The Book and the Author — Reflections of the Same Soul

I’ve come to realize that each of us carries two roles in life: we are both books to be read and authors writing our own stories.
As authors, we hold two sacred responsibilities — first, to envision what our book should be about, and second, to fill its pages with the story we wish to live. Every action we take becomes a stroke of ink on those pages. In this way, the best authors are, in truth, the best thinkers.
A friend once told me, “The legs can only go where the mind takes them.” Every action we make — consciously or unconsciously — springs from the thought patterns that govern our minds. When I say that the best writers are the best thinkers, I mean that those who create the lives they dream of do so because they’ve shaped their thoughts with intention. The way we think determines the way we act. If my thoughts are misaligned, my actions will follow that same path.
Without intention in our thinking and our doing, we delay ourselves from reaching the treasure hidden within our story. As a wise man once said, “If you think you can’t, you’re right. And if you think you can, you’re also right.”
So I leave you with this question:
What will the remaining chapters of your life hold?
What kind of story will your pages tell when you look back upon them?
By our thoughts and our actions, the pages of our lives become either true or forgotten. So think in a way that aligns with your destiny — and act in a way that honors it.
Because you are a book, and your pages are written in the language of your actions.
With Love and Peace to You All,
